Today we did the first activity for the summer learning Journey

 

Today we did the first activity for the summer learning journey and for the first activity we had to use this art tool called google arts ad culture. The one at the top is the one I have made and the second one was the original piece of artwork. This was only the first activity and it was fun trying out the different colours on the artwork.

Transformation using grids

Today we found an accredited image on Explore and selected it to use on our page. We then put a 5x5 grid on it so we could copy the image and make it original. Mrs. Minehan selected the first two images so we could understand the process, then we got to choose our own image.
I found the first one quite hard you should try and do it too!
The second one was really hard because it had shading on the tree.
I chose the image of the first one because I did not finish it.
Have you ever tried to transform an image using a grid? How did you find the process?

egg puns with Jason and Grace.

WALT: make words with egg at the front of the word.
My favorite part was makeing up egg worlds. It was challenging to find lots of words. 

Waka Art work!

WALT: find symbols that represent me and my family.
I find out about my 4-leaf clover because of my mum side. The infinity symbol is for my love of my family forever. The house means my family.
I enjoyed coloring in the background and the challenging was drawing the 4-leaf clover. I could be BTB if I cut out the white bits on the side.
