Today we did the last weekly quiz for this term. This week it is week 9 and today a am researching stuff about there being 4G on the moon. I didn't know that they were putting 4G on the moon! They have said that it would be 2 years until it would be finished. But what I don't like about it is that some people on earth don't have Wi-Fi at all and now the moon is getting it? That is just a bit sad 

Today we did the first activity for the summer learning Journey

 

Today we did the first activity for the summer learning journey and for the first activity we had to use this art tool called google arts ad culture. The one at the top is the one I have made and the second one was the original piece of artwork. This was only the first activity and it was fun trying out the different colours on the artwork.

weekly quiz week 7 covid-19 on meat?!

 

Today we did another weekly quiz it is week 7. I researched and found out that China has claimed that there is covid-19 on other meat that we are sending to their counties. This is a really good read and I like researching it. 3 more weeks and then there is no more school!

Doing a DLO for Subtraction from one Whole Number

 

Today we did a DLO for fractions and this video will teach you how to subtraction from one whole number. This was fun and we only had 4 days to make two DLO on maths buddy.  I like doing this and I am making a second DLO right now as we speak.

Today we did a weekly quiz, This week it is week 6 I research and talk about Japanese town deploys robot wolf to scare bears! I really liked doing this and researching it and it was fun. 

Weekly quiz week 5 all about Kamala Harris

 

Today got our class split up and we had to our weekly quiz for week 5. We had research and write about Kamala Harris. I worked with Reid and I. What I liked about this, I liked doing this and we did for a bit longer then usual. 

Weekly quiz week 4 water on the moon

 

Today Reid and I did the weekly quiz this is week 4 for going this and I really enjoyed it. We did this one on there being water on the moon! That is cool, right? I didn't know that before Reid and I start researching this. What did I like about this, I like doing this weekly quiz and I wish that we did it two times every week. What didn't I like that much about, I didn't like that there were 20 questions to choose from and I wish there were lest question because having 20 questions is a little bit too many. 

A how to guide for sportsmanship for dummies

 

Today I have made a how-to guide for sportsmanship. This guide will tell you the in and out of sportsmanship. What did I like about this guide, I liked doing this how-to guide and I hope that we do more of this stuff. What I didn't like about doing the guide. I wish that we could do it more often and next time I will do it with a friend. 

Compare and Contrast.

 

Today Liam and I did a compare and contrast for the T-shaped literacy. We had to do it on to people and sports. one was a basketball team and the other was The downfall of Jones and her career. 

Weekly quiz week 3 Japan is going to dump radioactive waste into the sea.

Today we did a weekly quiz we had 30 minutes to research and write an answer to a question from the quiz. I really like having a little amount of time to do this so we can finish this. I did not know this but now I do!

A how to guide to be a good sportsmanship.

 

Today we have made side on sportsmanship and how to be good at it. I really like this activity it was fun making a guide to how to be at sportsmanship. Maybe next time I would make it longer. 

A Kahoot for Alfred Nobel.

 

Today we made a Kahoot about Alfred Nobel, It was really fun researching him. This man invented some dynamite. It was really cool and I hope that we research something else. 

A DLO for 24 hour time.

Today we made another DLO, This DLO is about 24 hour time, I really like that we are doing these DLO. It toke I little bit for me get to the just of it but in the end I worked it out. 

 

Time table for year 8 maths.

 

Today this week we had to make a DLO and it will teach you how to do some time table. Harley and I did it together but Harley was not there. Also thanks to Carter and Reid for being in the background.

Today we had 30 minutes to research and make a google drawing, I really enjoyed that we had more time because we did this once and we only had 20 minutes. 

Weekly quiz why is Matariki is going to be a national holiday.

 

Today we had 20 minutes to answer a question in a weekly quiz, The question was ¨Which party is going to make Matariki a national holiday¨ What in enjoyed, I enjoyed researching about this topic. What I didn´t enjoy, I did not like that we only had 20 minutes so I could only do so much.

Today I have made a crossword out of Maori words for Maori week. I really enjoyed putting the words together. The thing that was hard was I trying to get the words.

 Today my friend and I made a Kahoot it was for Maori week. 

What I like, I like the challenge of making this for Maori week Kahoot because Jacob and I had to look up how to spell some of the questions. What challenged me, There were no photos for this so I had to input them would I have never done before. But in the end, Jacob and I had fun making it. 

Disco 2020

So Today we had a disco and it was good. before the disco started my friend was standing there waiting for me his name was Mark. SO the disco started on Thursday at 6:15 8:30. We you walked into the disco you would have to pay $2 to go in. We walked in the hall where it was being held. There was too big light being up. when me are Mark walked into the disco. In the first hour, I and Mark stayed but the shop because our friend holly was there and at the same time Reid come hi is my friend as well. by the end of the night, me and my friends are really. So it was good 

Chocolate chip biscuits

Today I have made some yummy cookies. We ended up making two batches because I made enough mixture. one of the bathes of cookies was left in the oven for longer so one side of the plate is darker.
We gave our lovely neighbors some of our biscuits and they said they really liked them.
